EA to Attend Star Wars Celebration

SWCBattlefront news coming soon, we hope!

Electronic Arts, everyone’s favorite game company, announced it would be attending Star Wars Celebration, a convention exclusively about George Lucas’ masterpiece, this year, to be held in Anaheim California from April 16th to 19th.

Officially, EA is listed as an exhibitor, but no details have been presented on either their site or the site for SWC.

While no news is generally a sign of a surprise announcement, that won’t stop the gargantuan hope that it will be something related to the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront, a relaunch of the multiplayer FPS originally published by the now defunct Lucasarts game studio. The game currently has a release date of Christmas 2015 to coincide with the release of the new Star Wars film The Force Awakens under the helm of J. J. Abrams.

SWB

EA signed a ten-year deal with Disney, the current owners of the Star Wars franchise. While Battlefront is the most anticipated game from this partnership, Visceral Games is also working on a separate project for Star Wars and is rumored to be an Open-World title.

While I’m personally hoping for Knights of the Old Republic 3 (BioWare and Single-Player, thank you) whatever is announced in April is sure to excite fans of the series.
