Video Game News, Reviews and Reflection! New Articles Released Randomly Every Week!
Now that the Summer Sales from Steam, Green Man Gaming and GOG.com are over, time to put your credit card in the freezer and start saving for Black Friday. Unless you’re an Amazon Prime member.
Amazon.com, which celebrates its 20th Anniversary on Wednesday, July 15th, has announced a massive sale meant to rival that of your “favorite” holiday event. Titled “Prime Day”, customers who have Amazon Prime membership and live in the U.S., U.K, Canada, Japan and few other countries, will have access to incredible deals, though no specific items have been named.
Prime Day is set to be a one-day event, and will likely be discounting a little bit of everything it offers to sell, especially video games. Amazon also takes pre-orders on games yet to be released, and considering Steam’s sale included some pre-order discounts, it’s likely we will see the same here.
Amazon Prime costs $99 for a year subscription and offers free unlimited Two-Day Shipping, access to Instant Video streaming services, exclusive lightning deals and more. Amazon is also making a 30-day free trial available for the event, available now on their homepage.
