Video Game News, Reviews and Reflection! New Articles Released Randomly Every Week!
The Closed Beta of Rainbow Six: Siege, originally slated to run from September 24th to today, has received an extended life. Announced by developer Ubisoft, those who signed up for the beta after E3 and anyone who pre-ordered the game will be able to enjoy the game until Thursday, October 1st.
Running at 1080p on Playstation 4 and 900p on Xbox One, the extension serves to make up for issues with the Beta’s Matchmaking system, which suffered some serious flaws that made joining games extremely difficult.
Despite server issues, Ubisoft reports extremely positive feedback, ranging from impressive gameplay to good variety, an impressive statement considering only three maps and three game modes were released. In addition, the company is already reporting changes made to the servers, aided by a gradual increase in Beta users controlled by Ubisoft, has already netted positive changes in terms of stability and player access.
Rainbow Six: Siege is set for a December 1st release date on PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
