New Tomb Raider Story is 15-20 Hours

Tomb RaiderLonger is better for most.

Rise of the Tomb Raider, Crystal Dynamics follow-up to the well-received remake, is getting bigger. According to Lead Designer Mike Brinker, the storyline will take fifteen to twenty hours to fully complete. This of course is assuming the player goes straight through the story. Completing side quests, which includes weapon hunts, hidden items and other non-story elements, will take an estimated thirty to forty hours to fully complete.

The increased time to completed, based on the fifteen hours estimated to complete the first game, is mainly due to an expansion of area sizes, approximately three times bigger than the remake’s. The majority of the missions to occupy these areas have been cited to be challenge tombs, crypts and extra missions dealing with the Remnants.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is set to release on November 10th for the Xbox One and Xbox 360, with Playstation 4 and PC versions set for next year.
